Stick with my train of thought here:

Do you know how sometimes you listen to a new album and you fall in love with a particular song? And for a bit, it’s just you and that song? You know, you listen to it in your room, in your apartment, in your car, in the gym, etc. It’s nice. It’s just you and your new favorite song.

Then, one day, you’re in a department store or you’re watching a commercial and they’re playing that song you love. And everybody is enjoying it. It’s nice, but it’s not the same as before. It’s a little different. So, you kinda get over the song and move on to something else.

Then, years later, you’re in your apartment again listening to music and that song comes on during shuffle. Then, it’s like it was when you first heard it; just you and that song you love. I love that moment. I cherish that moment. It probably makes me a freak, but I love all kinds of weird moments like that with songs and albums.

*notice I never mentioned the radio* I never listen to the radio.
